J.Crew {Shoe} Review: Noelle Canvas and Leather Lace-Up Booties

Noelle canvas and leather lace-up booties

{J.Crew Noelle Canvas and Leather Lace-Up Booties}

  • True to size (I wear a 7 1/2)
  • The color of the canvas is a bit off in the picture on the website. The canvas is a little more on the brown side and not like the the camo/moss green that is shown on the website (see right photo).
  • They are comfortable (because of the hidden platform). If I knew that I was going to walk a lot, I wouldn’t wear these. But this is my canned response for all shoes with heels.
  • Price: Retail price was $275.00 and I got them for $70.00 (with the extra 30% off promo code). What a steal!

I love these shoes because they go well with everything – jeans, skirts, shorts, you name it. I like the fold-over collar frames because it adds a hint of dainty to the canvas and leather mix. I’ve been wanting these for a while but the price was never right until the recent promo. This is available in olive moss and black (see here) and a suede/leather version (see here). I am a wee bit tempted to get the suede/leather version in chocolate but they don’t have my size.

Overall, another welcome addition to my growing J.Crew shoe collection (yipee!)

    Just wanted to share that thanks to your blog I bit the bullet and bought the Noelles this morning. Right in time – only 2 left in my size! Your video reassured me that they would be classic and fun to wear with lots of outfits. Originally, I planned to get the Odeons which was the favorite on the JCA blog – still might – but this was an awesome review, thanks!!

      Hi Kate, your comment just made my day! I’m so excited for you to get your brown box. Classic and fun are definitely the right adjectives for these babies. Hope you’ll love them as much as I do!
