J.Crew {Bling} Review: Mulberry Leaf Glass necklace

Mulberry leaf glass necklace

Description on J.Crew’s website:Our designer created an impossibly luxe, amazingly textured charm: Entirely handcrafted and hand assembled (down to the individually strung freshwater pearls and miniature beads), it features a chandelier of gold-plated brass leaves oxidized for a dappled effect and adorned with twisted clusters of brass beads, glass crystals and freshwater pearls for a blooming, tactile feel. Here, pieces of it are paired with faceted glass stones and smooth brass snake chains. The result is a stunning statement piece destined for heirloom status. Freshwater pearls, glass stones, dark gold ox-plated brass castings and brass beads with plated brass snake chains. Signature spring clasp closure. Import. Length: 22″ with 3″ extender chain for adjustable length.

The description sounds quite familiar hmmm? Anyway, this is another “okay” necklace. I am not in love with it. I “scored” this with a 64% off discount. The discount is tempting me to keep it. But I’m trying to be more responsible with the crewlade nowadays. And quite frankly, I’m really not sure that it’s worth the discounted price.

I am wearing the necklace with the Silk Sophie blouse (in weathered wood).
