Oh God. Marko and Melanie from SYTYCD make me wish that I can dance SO BAD! They are amazing! I gasp, I sigh, I laugh, I cry when they perform. I find myself pressing play over and over again. I think I should include dance in my long list of things that I have to learn/do before I… you know. I WILL LEARN HOW TO DANCE. A girl can always dream, right?

Believe me, you need to hit the play button if you haven’t seen these performances yet! Melanie is my favorite to win :)

Say hello to my first ever J.Crew handbag ♡ – isn’t she pretty? This is another purchase from the Extra 40% off Final Sale promo from last week. I love this bag because of the hints of neon pink in the tweed, the adjustable leather top handle (so I can convert the clutch to a shoulder bag), and last but not the least, the bling. It is just such a fun piece! I would use this to carry a slim wallet, my phone, blotting paper, and a lip tint. It can fit more but it looks best if it keeps its slim shape. It has two zip pockets, one with a depth that runs almost the entire length of the bag when it’s open and a smaller one with a depth that runs about half of the bag. Hope my description made sense :) There’s a photo below that might explain the pocket situation better :) One thing that I did not like is the quality of the leather strap, it looked cheap to me but I appreciate that it can be adjusted or removed. I wish that the bag came with a dust bag, this is definitely a high maintenance item because it can get dirty quite easily and the tweed can get caught on so many things. This is probably why J.Crew classifies this as an occasion bag. Enjoy the photos!

I’ve been eying this collection sweater for a while now. I was just waiting for the retail price to drop significantly. I acquired this during the Extra 40% off Final Sale promo even if my size wasn’t available. I am usually a small, I got a medium. This sweater is definitely more flattering if fitted. I would say that it is TTS. It’s a wonderful piece to have, I can dress this up (with skinny black pants and heels) or down (with jeans). It’s awesome that it can be hand washed. The metallic studs are cold (brr!) on bare skin so watch out for that when trying this on. The studs seem well secured but I would have liked it if J.Crew provided me with extra studs. What gives, J.Crew?

I love this blouse because it is perfect for effortless/relaxed looks. If you haven’t yet, see my post about its fresh apricot sister here to see some information about the sizing, pricing, and additional links to other blogs. What an awesome price for such a versatile, 100% silk (albeit Made in China) top :) Go get it if you can!

My favorite way to wear this this summer is to leave the top two buttons unbuttoned. Et voila..

This is also pairs well with statement necklaces. I picked the  J.Crew Apogee necklace (one of my absolute faves!).

Close up of the cuff.. I sized up because I wanted a more relaxed fit and because the shirt in my regular size if a little bit shorter than I would like.  The sleeves is just a wee bit longer (which is fine). If you want the blouse to be more fitted, I recommend getting your regular size.

The Silk Blythe blouse in fresh apricot is so lovely. I wanted it as soon as I saw it on the catalog. Waiting for the sale price really tested my patience but it finally paid off! I got this color and the dark navy one for $34.99 each (after the 30% discount). This fits true to size. However, I sized up because I thought it was shorter that what I would like it to be (I want to be able to tuck it in) and I wanted a more relaxed fit. The fabric is light and it’s not sheer – I can wear this without a camisole. And the fresh apricot color? OMG it’s so amazing. Definitely a great score. I love it!
